Power Delivery is a technology that protects charging devices by delivering only the power they need. So there is no risk of overcharging or overheating the device being charged. You can also charge bulk devices such as tablets that require a higher charging current, as well as mobile phones that require a lower current. A large input voltage range from 100 V makes this charger suitable for travel, so you can use it in combination with a travel adapter even in countries where a lower voltage is the standard (e.g. 120 V in the USA). With this charger, there is no need to always carry two chargers with you, which is very practical if you need to charge a mobile phone and a tablet at the same time on your travels.
